Here ares some of the most common questions when it comes to presets:

Before Purchasing:
What are presets?
Presets are filters or effects. It is really that simple. Presets are created in Adobe Lightroom, a professional editing software used by photographers and content creators. They are developed to create a certain look and allow for endless creative possibilities when editing your photos. It is important to understand that even though most presets are a one-click and apply type for filters, they will always need to be slightly adjusted to fit the exact photo that you are working with. For a more detailed description of how I edit my photos, a .pdf will be attached to every preset purchase!

Why are there different presets for desktop and mobile?

Most presets are developed on a desktop. The desktop version of Adobe Lightroom has a much wider range of creative tools, allowing for a more detailed development of these filters.
The reason that there are two different packages, one desktop and one mobile, for my presets is because one is not compatible with the other. This means that the desktop presets cannot be opened on your phone and the mobile presets will not work on your desktop. The main difference is that with the free mobile app from Adobe Lightroom there are less tools to work with and therefore not as many possibilities for changing the presets. Please make sure you take a look at the Ligthroom program through the adobe page to really understand which version, desktop or mobile, is right for you.

Are these presets compatible with Photoshop?
No! These presets are specifically made for the Lightroom software only!

Who are these presets for?
These presets are perfect for anyone who is trying to take their photography or Instagram game to the next level! Now this by no means means that you need to be a professional!! It simply means that you like the style that I work with and want to work with that style as well.
Whether you are just starting out on your editing journey or you are experienced and just curious as to what settings I use, these presets have something for everyone!

Who are these presets not for?

There presets are not for someone who is expecting their pictures to be perfect just because they apply my presets! I truly believe that editing is an art that is constantly changing. There is no such thing as the perfect preset!

Is there a guarantee that you presets will work for me?
Unfortunately no. No one can guarantee that their presets will be the perfect match because that perfect match does not exists. My presets are based off of multiple pictures and many many tweaks! These presets are my style, they are what I like to use when I edit my pictures but I cannot guarantee that they will be perfect for you! However, once you buy them, you get an inside look into how I color and edit my pictures and you basically get all of my setting information! Plus, I will make sure to provide you with lots of information on how to adjust a preset to better match your picture.

What happens if I don't like the presets?
All sales are final. I put a lot of work into developing my settings and by sharing them with you I am giving you all of my editing secrets.

Are these the exact presets you use?
Yes. These are the exact and only presets that I am currently using on my pictures. I am developing new presets for different geographical locations to better fit different environments. However, these are the presets that can be seen on all of my current pictures!

Are these the only presets I should ever purchase?

Absolutely not! I can't even tell you how many different presets I bought from different bloggers when I first started learning how to edit. Every preset was completely different and you will start to learn what look is right for you!

How do I get the most out of these presets?
Shoot in RAW!!! I say it all the time and it is not a joke, if you have a camera that you are using to shoot picture, SHOOT IN RAW! It will give you the most creative wiggle room when you edit!

After Purchasing:
Thank you so much letting me help you take this first big step in your editing journey! I am super excited to help you with all of your editing questions and needs. I don't have any help when it comes to running this business so before you send an email, please read through all of the questions below and make sure your answer isn't there! I purchased the presets, where are they?
A confirmation email is sent to you after payment is processed. This confirmation email includes a download link for the presets as well as a .pdf guide on how to download and use the presets! If you have not received a confirmation email that means that your email was misspelled during the purchase. Not to worry, just send me an email to Ask Think Gypsy with your full name and correct email and I will get the presets to you.

I can't figure out how to open the mobile presets!

First things first, take a deep breath! I know that opening the mobile presets and getting them all set up is an annoying process but I got you covered. If the .pdf guide was still unclear, please check out this short tutorial on my Instagram page and hopefully that will clear things up!

What is a .zip file and why is that what comes in the email?
Presets are Lightroom settings and therefore a rather large files. In order to send them to you, I have to export them into a .zip file. All you need to do is open or “unzip” the file and all the presets will be accessible to you.

How do I install the desktop presets?

Please see the detailed .pdf that was attached to the confirmation email you received for step by step instructions.

I hope this answered any and all questions you have! Happy Editing!
